Valerie Marze was born and raised in Many, Louisiana.  She currently resides in Sunset, La where she is a wife, mother, grandmother, nurse and artist.  Her love for art began while taking art lessons after school as a young girl.  Even though she chose nursing as her career, she continued to draw and paint.  Whether painting for friends, family or murals on her children’s bedroom walls, she continued to create art.

It is recent that she has decided to share her art with others.  Her art can be purchased in business across South Louisiana and even Orange Beach Alabama.  Her commissioned paintings currently grace the walls of homes in Louisiana, Texas and Alabama.

Valerie enjoys painting scenes and landscapes of the South from beautiful live oaks and cypress trees to the wildlife found along the coast.  Her art is created with the layers of paint and texture, making the painting come off the canvas!  She chooses a color palate that can be used in any home and loves to accent with a splash of gold.
