What's New for 318 Art & Garden...and BEYOND!

Announcement Downtown Art House Moving Sister Store Store News

When we were faced with having to shut down and go totally online secondary to Covid-19, we knew this could be a place of paralyzing fear and failure, or we could look at it as an opportunity to design our future and invest even more into our community.

Because of all your loving support, 318 Art & Garden has been blessed with the opportunity to move into a much larger retail space, right next door. (previously Bella Bridesmaid).  In addition, I am pleased to announce that we will be opening a sister store in downtown Shreveport, Downtown Art House- A Southernist Collective.

Changes for 318 Art & Garden:
1) Moving Across the Hall into MUCH LARGER renovated space 1900 square feet compared to 750.
2) Adding Multiple New Lines, Artists and  Artisans from Louisiana.
3) We hope to be fully in by Tuesday May 5th and ready for business (provided the Governor allows retail to re-open)
4) Our NEW hours will be Tuesday through Friday 10AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-5PM and CLOSED Sunday and Monday. This will give us more time to keep everything CLEAN and Properly Sanitized!

New Sister Business for 318 Art & Garden:
Name: Downtown Art House- A Southernist Collective
Location: 717 Crockett Street in the Old Ford Building
Summary: The new location will feature all Southern Art and Artisanal Products and promote Southern Small Businesses. The Artists and Artisans for DAH will be different than the ones featured at 318 A&G to bring you a unique selection of Artists and Artisans at each location.  We are working closely with Developer, Jim Malsch,  Executive Director of the Downtown Development Authority, Liz Swaine, Executive Director of Shreveport Regional Arts Council, Pam Atchison, and Executive Director for Shreveport Common, Wendy Benscoter, to coordinate events, strategy, and to continue the development of downtown Shreveport, in an effort to continue cultivating it as art destination.
Timeline: As Early as November 2020 but could be January 2021

If it were not for our customers, loyal and new, that continue to support us, this would not be possible, and for this, we are eternally grateful.
